WordPress Site Icon steps

Export 512×512 PNG below → Appearance → Customize → Site Identity → Select Site Icon → publish. Optionally add explicit PNG link tags in a child theme for extra sizes.

We read width and height locally, then resize with center crop. Max 8 MB.
