These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Toolcore website and the tools and content we make available (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information; these Terms explain rules, disclaimers, and limits on liability.
The Service
Toolcore provides browser-based utilities (for example formatting, encoding, media helpers, calculators, and related tools). Many features are designed to run locally in your browser; where a page uses servers, generative AI, or third-party services, that page states it. We may show advertising (including through Google AdSense), offer optional sign-in, and change or discontinue features over time.
Eligibility and accounts
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you use an optional account (for example through Account), you agree to provide accurate sign-in information allowed by your identity provider and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate others' rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the Service; probe for vulnerabilities; or bypass access controls.
- Upload or process content you do not have the right to use, or content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes intellectual property.
- Use automated means to scrape or harvest the Service in a way that impairs performance or violates robots.txt or our rate limits, except as allowed for public search indexing in reasonable volume.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or pose risk to the Service or other users.
Your content and outputs
You retain rights to the text, files, and data you enter. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Service—for example, transmitting data through our infrastructure when a tool explicitly uses the server, or storing signed-in feedback you submit as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for backing up important data and for deciding whether the Service is appropriate for confidential, regulated, or high-risk information. Do not paste secrets or personal data you are not allowed to process in a web tool.
Our intellectual property
The Service, including branding, layout, and original text, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights to use the Service in these Terms, we do not grant you a license to our trademarks or copyrighted materials.
Third-party services
The Service may integrate or link to third parties (for example hosting, authentication, analytics, or advertising). Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Your use of them is at your risk and subject to their policies.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
Tools (including calculators, encoders, formatters, and AI-assisted features) are for general assistance only. They are not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. Verify results before relying on them in production, compliance, or safety-critical contexts.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TOOLCORE AND ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY) OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Toolcore and its operators against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where practical. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
General
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior understandings on this subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
